Dear Celia, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved spouse after all these years of shared life experiences. When I lost my son, I wrote the following verse which gave me some level of comfort and peace. Today, I share this with you.

I am the wind, the moon, the stars
I am the universe
I am that I am
I am you and you are me
We are together still
Through all eternity.

When I wrote it, I considered the physics of our universe, and thought that we are all part of that creation that holds us together through all eternity, regardless of our earthly departure into the spiritual world! This gave me some level of comfort.

You are in my thoughts and prayers,

Love - Dina

Dear Celia and family,
There is no doubt in my mind that Josh was the most respected and beloved member of the Siena faculty. I am deeply, deeply saddened by his death. I especially remember his kindness to me five years ago when my daughter was dealing with severe health issues and again two years ago when my brother died. Josh will be sorely missed.
I send my best wishes to all of his family.

Dear Celia and Family,
I knew Josh even before I came to Siena almost 30 years ago. I knew his college roommate while I was in Baltimore. I worked with Josh on faculty matters for almost three decades. I was ever in awe of his unique amalgam of kindness, insight, gentleness, and meticulous attention to detail. Sometimes while working with him on the Faculty Handbook it was arduous as he carefully laid all all the implications of what we had drafted. But Josh was always right and justifiably had the trust of all faculty. I shall miss him and keep him always in my prayers.
