Obituary of Marian Dattelbaum

MARIAN DATTELBAUM 1915- 2009 Rexford, New York Marian Cohn Dattelbaum, age 94 of Rexford, NY died on Sunday June 21, 2009 at the Barnwell Health Facility in Valatie, NY. Mrs. Dattelbaum was born in Philadelphia, Pa and was a graduate of the Parsons School of Design where she earned her degree in interior design. She had been an active volunteer at the North Shore Hospital in Great Neck, NY and was a former member of B'Nai Jeshurun Congregation in NYC. Marian was an avid artistic knitter, making clothes for her as well as others. She will be remembered by her family for her direct and forthcoming manner and her loving generosity of spirit. She was married to Paul Dattelbaum until his passing in 2007. She is survived by her son, Alan Dattelbaum of Kinderhook, NY and his daughter, Marilyn Bule of Conway, South Carolina. Sister of Phyllis Haber of Floral Park, NY and Palm Beach, Florida. Sister in law of Ted Haber of Floral Park, NY and Palm Beach, Florida and Harriet Dattelbaum of North Woodmere, New York. Grandmother of Jennifer O'Neil, Marc Hirschenfang, Andrew Dattelbaum, Jonathan Dattelbaum and Alison Todd. Great grandmother of Kyle O'Neil, Kate O'Neil, Jacob Todd, Benjamin Dattelbaum, Nicholas Todd and McKenna O'Neil. She also leaves many nieces Services at the Mt. Neboh Cemetery, Queens, NY on Wednesday June 24, 2009 at 1:00pm.
