Obituary of Anne Zima

ANNE ZIMA ALBANY, NY ZIMA Anne Zima, 90ish, of Albany died on Wednesday June 17, 2009 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Anne was born in Warsaw, Poland and came to America at the age of 2. She was the wife the late Hyman Zima. She is survived by 3 children Shelly (Ken) Shapiro, Terry ( Sylvia) Zima and Bob ( Patricia) Zima, 7 grandchildren , Deborah Shapiro (Dominique Baede), Steven Shapiro, Adam (Lindsey) Zima, Hana Zima, Elyse Zima, Lisa Zima and Rachael Zima and 3 great grandchildren Noam and Lina Baede and Isaac Zima. Anne and Hy founded Capitol District Supply Company in 1945. She was a longtime member of Shaker Ridge County Club. Anne was an award winning golfer and bridge player. She was a member of Temple Israel. Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel 649 Washington Avenue in Albany on Friday June 19, 2009 at 2:00pm. . The period of mourning will be at the home of Bob and Trish Zima Saturday and Sunday evening at 7:30 pm.
