Obituary of Linda Susan Weintraub

LINDA SUSAN WEINTRAUB Linda Susan Weintraub of Germantown, NY and Palm Beach, FL died on June 11, 2009 at the Albany Medical Center after a long illness. Beloved daughter of Miriam and the late Benjamin Weintraub, granddaughter of the late Jennie M. Kahn, sister of Myles Weintraub, and sister-in-law of Vera Weintraub. She is also survived by many cousins in Albany and Troy, NY. She was born and raised in New York City where she graduated from Forest Hills High School and the Collegiate School of Business. She moved to Florida in 1973 and went to work at First National Bank of Palm Beach where she worked for the next 31 years, rising to Assistant Branch Manager. She was a volunteer fund raiser for the March of Dimes, a wonderful cook, and an avid baseball fan. Most of all, she was a model of courage to all who knew her. Services at the Ohav Shalom Cemetery, Western Avenue in Guilderland, NY on Monday June 15, 2009 at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the March of Dimes and/or the Jennie M. Kahn Fund at Congregation Ohav Shalom, Albany, NY.
