Obituary of Edith Cohen

Edith Cohen, 89 died on Tuesday April 7, 2009 at The Albany County Nursing Home. Born in Schenectady, She was the wife of Leonard Cohen until his passing in 1996. Edith was employed by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles for 25 years until her retirement in 1981. She was a member of Congregation Beth Abraham Jacob in Albany. Edith is survived by her daughter Roberta (Edwin) Miller of Boynton Beach, Florida, her grandchildren, Judy Miller, Jeffrey (Julia) Miller and Ellen (Brian) Richless. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Bailey and Ethan Miller. She was predeceased by her brother Harold Simon. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday April 12, 2009 in Beth Abraham Jacob Cemetery, Western Avenue, Guilderland, New York.
