Obituary of Hubert Wolf

HUBERT WALTER WOLF 1920-2009 Albany, NY Hubert Walter Wolf, age 88 of the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home in Albany died on Sunday March 29, 2009 at the nursing home. Mr. Wolf was born in Vienna, Austria and raised in Prague. He resided in Hartford, Ct for most of his life and had been an Albany area resident for the last 2/1/2 years. He was an Executive Secretary in Europe for many years and had also worked for the Ames Department Stores in Rocky Hill, Ct for many years. Mr. Wolf was a member of Temple Beth El in West Hartford, Ct. He was a Holocaust survivor having survived Auschwitz and Matthausen. Mr. Wolf was married to Miriam Millstein Wolf until her passing in 1992. He is survived by 2 daughters, Lisa Palatsky and her husband, David of Guilderland, NY and Bonye Barone and her husband, Nick of Higganum, Ct. and a son, Richard Wolf and his wife Patsy of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Grandfather of Jason and Joseph Palatsky and Sarah and Megan Wolf. Services and interment will be held in Hartford, Ct on Thursday April 2, 2009.
