Obituary of Rena Lowenberg

RENA ADELE LOWENBERG 1918-2009 Albany, NY LOWENBERG Rena Adele Lowenberg, age 90 of the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home in Albany died on Tuesday evening March 17, 2009 at the nursing home. Mrs. Lowenberg was born in Brooklyn, NY and resided most of her life in the Metropolitan New York area. She moved to Clifton Park in 1991 after the passing of her husband. She was a life member of Hadassah. Rena was married to Herman Lowenberg until his passing in 1991. She is survived by a son, Robert Lowenberg and his wife Elaine of Clifton Park, NY and a brother Emanuel Berliner of Florida. Grandmother of Marian, Michael and Robyn. Great grandmother of Amanda, Jason, Sam, Zoe and Amelia. Graveside services will be held at the Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, Long Island on Thursday March 19, 2009 at 1:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home, 180 Washington Avenue Extension, Albany, NY 12203 or a charity of ones choice. The period of mourning will be observed at the home of Robert and Elaine Lowenberg, 7 Wildwood Court in Clifton Park, NY on Thursday and Sunday evenings commencing at 7:30pm.
