I`m in Albany this weekend and heard of Judys` passing. And what I would like to write most about Judy Kaskel was that her tenacity and compassion were equal. I could never say no to Judy about working at the Soup Kitchen. And her persistentce was that Soup Kitchens Success. Judy never complained, and worked while she could during her long battle with Cancer. We met at the Gildas` Club here in the Capitol Region. Once, while seeing specialists for treatment in NYC, Judy and I met for a late lunch. And we went to the Gildas` Club in NYC. We had more laughs than I ever heard her freely expel. This is how I will remember Judy Kaskel. May her memory always remain for a blessing. May she rest in peace. May her loved ones be comforted as all mourners of Zion. And I hope the Capitol Region Community will establish a reflection commemorating Judy Kaskels` many acts of Mitzvah. You remain in my heart, always.

Stewart and Michael we wish to express our sympathies during this most difficult time of loss for your families. We lost contact through the years but Judy and Dave were friends from the past and we carry forward fond memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

So sad! So many fond memories speaking with her over the recent years and thoughts of her unique art teacher days. Throughout her illness, she was an example for all as she continued to care about others. Sincerest condolences.

Fran and Ira Weiss and family
