Dearest May, You will be so greatly missed! I will never forget your many caring phone calls to just see how we were all doing. You were such a comfort when my Dad died and you would check on us and send lovely photos from when we were young, and surprise ones of my dad.I so admired how you kept in touch with everyone, only talking about your self a little. You were more interested in our lives and activities. It was a real comfort when Claudia brought us to see you and Marvin in R.I. Matthew thought you were both "cool". He had no idea just how cool and wonderful. Lots of love, Karen and Matthew

One of my earliest memories of my Aunt May was as a little kid having a sleep-over at her house with her kids, my cousins Claudia and David. We'd wake up in our pajamas and May would make us One-Eyed Sailor Eggs -- where she'd use a shot glass to cut out a round circle in the toast and fry the sunny side up egg inside the hole -- all pan fried and delicious. The perfect culinary accompaniment to our weekend morning cartoon watching. She was always very kind and accommodating and I have memories of countless holiday meals in her and her sister Sylvia's company. I also loved her sense of humor and her appreciation for the humor of others. My father Stewart loved her very much, and I will miss her. She made Schenectady and the world a little brighter and more fun. -- Mark Miller markmiller2000@ca.rr.com

My mom Sylvia considered her cousin May to be her most long-standing and supportive friend. They were in daily communication for over 60 years, and cousin May was our family's most inquisitive and knowledgeable person. She was the family member of her generation most capable of learning new concepts and tried to help my mom keep up with new events and ideas. Marvin has always been the family gentleman, humorous and kind. My mom was very fortunate to have had such a loyal and helpful confidante for so many years. My sympathy to Marvin and May's children Claudia and David and the grandchildren. I wish them all the best in the future. Thinking of you, Larry Gordon
