Obituary of Sonia E. Sheinfeld

Sonia E.Sheinfeld, age 97, of the Atria of Guilderland, died on Tuesday morning December 16, 2008 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Mrs. Sheinfeld was born in the Ukraine and came to the United States as a young girl. She and her husband owned and operated the former Sheinfeld Jeweler which was locatedd on North Pearl Street in Albany, later moving to State Street. The Sheinfeld's operated the jewelry store for more than 60 years. She was a member of Congregation Beth Abraham Jacob in Albany Mrs.Sheinfeld was predeceased by her husband Sol Sheinfeld. Loving Mother of Maxine Epstein and her husband Sanford of Troy, NY. Cherished grandmother of Abby Lynn Clowe and her husband William Bradley Clowe and Randy Epstein and his wife Phyllis. Great grandmother of Stephanie and Amanda Clowe. Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel 649 Washington Avenue Albany on Thursday December 18, 2008 at 1:30pm. Interment will follow in the Beth Abraham Jacob Cemetery in Guilderland, NY. The period of mourning will be observed at the home of Maxine and Sanford Epstein, 6 Meadowbrook Lane in Troy, NY on Thursday following the service of interment and throughout the day on Friday.
