Obituary of Gary S. Rice

ALBANY, NY RICE Gary S. Rice, age 54 of Albany died suddenly on Friday morning November 28, 2008 at his residence. Gary was born in Albany and has been a lifelong resident. He was employed for many years by Schuyler Realty in Latham, and later was involved with real estate at the Port of Albany. He was a member of Albany City Lodge # 540 Knights of Pythias in Albany. Gary will be remembered as a loving father, brother and son and for his passion and enthusiasm for nice cars. He was the cherished son of Jason J. Rice of Albany and the late Lois Dembo Rice who passed away in March of 2007. He is survived by his loving children, Adam and Kara Rice and their Mother, Elizabeth Schulman and Haley Rice and her Mother, Eva Mansfield Rice . Brother of Nancy A. Rice (Paul Germain) of Albany. He also leaves aunts, uncles and cousins and many wonderful friends. A special Aunt and Uncle, Donald and Joanne Davidoff of Voorheesville also survive him. A private funeral service will be held at the Beth Emeth Cemetery in Loudonville, NY. Those wishing to remember Gary in a special way may make a memorial contribution to a charity of your choice.
