Obituary of Doris Schwartzberg

Delmar, New York SCHWARTZBERG Doris Altman Schwartzberg, age 96 of Dumbarton Drive in Delmar, NY died on Tuesday November 18, 2008 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Doris was a member of Temple Israel, a life member of Brandeis University Women as well as a life member of Hadassah. Doris is survived by her husband, Samuel Schwartzberg and 2 daughters, Beth Goldman and her husband Alvin of Delmar, NY and Jill Hekkanen and her husband Steve of Tampa, Florida. Grandmother of Nathaniel Goldman and his wife Chris and their children, Josh, Nicholle, Jenna, Cienna and Jordan, Maureen Goldman and her close companion Albert, Joshua Goldman and his fiancé Julia and his daughter Jien and her Mother, Naomi Ogawa, Jeremy Goldman and his wife Kira and their children, Gabrielle, Avi and Jacob, Justin Hekkanen and his wife Sharon and their children Presley and Jackson, Shawn Hekkanen and his wife Colleen. Services at Temple Israel 600 New Scotland Avenue Albany on Thursday November 20, 2008 at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in the Temple Israel Cemetery in Guilderland, NY. The period of mourning will be observed at the home of Alvin and Beth Goldman 154 Dumbarton Drive in Delmar, NY through Wednesday morning November 26th.
