Obituary of Marsha B. Solis

Slingerlands, New York SOLIS Marsha Bernstein Solis, age 57 of Mosall Drive in Slingerlands, NY died on Monday November 3, 2008 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Marsha was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Thelma Bernstein. She attended Albany Public Schools and was a graduate of the Albany High School. Marsha was also a graduate of SUNY Brockport where she received her degree in education and had been working on her Masters degree. She had been employed as a project manager for the Office of Mental Health in Albany. Marsha is survived by her loving husband, William Solis, and her devoted sons, Benjamin A. Solis of NYC and Joshua Solis of Boston, Massachusetts. She also leaves a brother, Jeffrey Bernstein and his wife Donna of Waterford, NY and a sister, Stephanie Muller and her husband Bruce of Guilderland, NY. Aunt of Brett, Scott, Rebecca and Andrew Bernstein and Laura Muller. Marsha is the niece of Theodore Strauss of Albany, NY. She was predeceased by her brother, Stephen Bernstein. Marsha will be most remembered by her family as a dedicated wife and Mother who was courageous to the very end. Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel 649 Washington Avenue Albany on Thursday November 6, 2008 at 11:00am. Interment will follow in the Independent Benevolent Cemetery in Guilderland, NY. The period of mourning will be observed on Thursday following the service of interment at the Solis residence, 11 Mosall Drive in Slingerlands, New York.
