Obituary of Ruthe Muriel Levin

Delmar, New York LEVIN Ruthe Muriel LaVine Levin, age 83 of Westchester Drive North in Delmar, New York died peacefully on Wednesday October 8, 2008 at the Albany Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Ruthe was born in Albany, NY and was a life long Capital District resident. She was a graduate of the former Milne High School in Albany, a graduate of the Leland Powers College in Boston and was also a graduate of the Green Mountain College in Vermont. Ruthe was active as a real estate agent locally and had been employed by Weichert Realtors. She was a member of Temple Israel in Albany. Ruthe is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Sandy Levin, a son Ron Marc Levin of Smithfield, North Carolina, and a brother, Irwin LaVine of Clifton Park, NY. Grandmother of Kristin Carrie Levin, Kyle Robert Levin and Sandy Kaitlynn Levin. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Philip and Rose Trilling LaVine. Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel 649 Washington Avenue Albany on Sunday October 12, 2008 at 1:00pm. Interment will follow in the Temple Israel Cemetery in Guilderland, New York. The period of mourning will be observed at the Levin residence 123 Westchester Drive North in Delmar, NY on Sunday following the service of interment and again on Monday throughout the day and evening
