To all of the Rome family...Our heartfelt love to you on the passing of your Mom. Such fond memories of times together in Stowe and visiting you in Albany all those years past. Our dad Bob passed on Dec 17th and I guess there's a sense of symmetry...How they both lived and loved, and passed within such a short time of each other. Most importantly, how they will both be remembered, not just by us, but by the multitude of people they touched during their time in our lives. with affection... Dan(ny)...

My most heartfelt condolences go out to the family of Dr. Doris Rome. I knew her briefly but during that time I came to know an outstanding person. She had a great love for all the people she met, and had such a generous heart. All my fest for her family.

My store was near Spectors on Central Avenue so I knew Howard and Doris at that time and we ran into them often at Lake George before Howard died and later Doris over the years. It was a delight to see them and we are glad they crossed our path. JOHN HAUSEN When I think of Doris I remember when I worked for Dr Erickson head of Hun Memorial at Albany Med the summer of 1951 or '50 he commented that "Dr Rome was the best Intern I have ever worked with." and at that time female physicians were rare. She was an excellent pioneer for women in medicine How wonderful that she chose the career she did. We wish you an eternity of sweet memories. CAROL HAUSEN
