Obituary of Yakov Kerzhner

Cohoes, New York KERZHNER Yakov Kerzhner age 70 of Cohoes, NY died Wednesday morning August 27, 2008 at the Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY. Yakov was born in the Ukraine and has been a Capital District resident for the past 16 years. He will always be remembered for his generosity and willingness to help others. He had been involved in the foster grandparent program in Albany County for the past seven years and enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his loving wife Raisa Kerzhner and cherished daughter Ella Kerzhner of Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by a niece Alexandra and two nephews Gregory and Boris and a brother-in- law Peter Polyanskiya. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Beth El Cemetery Belle Ave, Troy, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
