Obituary of Burton A. Klein
Burton A. Klein, age 84 of Albany, NY died on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Joseph and Rose Lazarus Klein. , Mr. Klein resided most of his life in Albany and lived in Cobleskill at one time.He was a marine corp. veteran and served In Korea. Burton attended RPI in Troy and was an entrepreneur and created Burton Enterprises in Cobleskill which was a woodworking company.. He also worked as a representative for Norcam which was a company based in Finland.Burt was a school bus driver for 13 years for the Guilderland and Bethlehem School Systems. He was a longtime member of the Berne Masonic Lodge as well as the Cobleskill Lions Club. He enjoyed skiing, tennis, sailing and fishing. Burt will long be remembered as a kind, caring and generous man.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kay Wimer Klein, a son, Joseph Klein and his wife Judy and a daughter, Roni- Ann Weiner and her husband Bruce all from the Boston area. Cherished grandfather of Christopher and Matthew Klein. Burt also leaves many cousins in Boston and the Capital District area.
Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue Albany on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 1:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
