Obituary of Richard M. Englander

Richard M. Englander, of Albany, NY died on February 6, 2014. Born in Kingston, NY, Mr. Englander was a graduate of the Manlius School and was a distinguished military graduate of Siena College. Richard was an Army veteran, serving as 1st Lieutenant with the 3rd Gun Battalion, 84th Artillery, USAREUR, receiving many awards for outstanding service. He was an executive with Architects Hardware & Specialty Co. Inc. in Albany for over 40 years. Richard is survived by his wife Dorothy, his children, Scott Englander, his wife Jennifer Bruni, and their children Jesse Englander and Alessandro Bruni of Brookline, MA, Mimi Englander and her husband, David Morrell of Littleton, MA and Danny Englander and his wife Elise of San Diego, CA. Dear brother of Sonya Rose and Bill Englander, and his wife Gabrielle both of Albany, NY.Treasured brother-in- law of Florence and her late husband Bob Rudman of Wayne, NJ. Beloved by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dear friend of Angelina Reed of Albany, NY. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Those wishing to remember Richard in a special way may make a memorial contribution to a charity of their choice.
