Karl, I am sorry. David, Michael and your families, my thoughts go out to you as well. My sincere condolences. I will always be grateful for the way Sue made me feel welcome and at ease in her home. Her big laugh was really something and contagious because not many people in the room could remain serious hearing it. She shall be missed.

I enjoyed being a teaching assistant to Sue years ago at Arbor Hill School and so admired her and her bravery with her health through the years. She was a fine and plucky woman. elsadebeere@beverwyck.com

Sue will be very much missed. She always put a smile on my face when visiting the lake. I remember her most for encouraging me to take the risk and "go down that slide}" and all of the wonderful pictures she shared with us and my Aunt Linda. Karl our thoughts are with you and we send you lots of love, Karen, Dan and Ian

Dear Karl and family: We were very sorry to hear of Sue's passing. Over the years, she lent her considerable talent to help us raise funds for the Albany Damien Center, a community center for people living with HIV/AIDS in upstate NY. We so appreciated her kindness and compassion and will be keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Perry Junjulas, Executive Director and person living with AIDS The Albany Damien Center

Mike grew up with Sue. Their mothers were close friends so they ALWAYS knew about each other and their families. Sue was fiesty and smiley - all the time. Rhoda knew her from the Lake and always enjoyed her company. We are glad she was in our lives and will remember her fondly. Our thoughts are with her family and we hope that their realization that Sue touched many lives beyond the ones who were closest to her provides some solace.

Sue was one of my favorite classmates at Milne. She was always fun and interesting to talk with. We had many interesting and spirited discussions. One time she took me for a tour of WROW and to meet her dad. When you were around Sue, there was never a dull moment. Sue, you will be missed! My Mom passed with same disease just shortly after her 80th birthday. My heart goes out to the family. But, we all have been so lucky to know Sue at different times in her very full and meaningful LIFE!,
