Obituary of Reba Kaminsky
Reba Wilner Kaminsky, 90 of the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center in Albany died on Tuesday morning, December 3rd , 2013 at the nursing center. Reba was born in Montreal, Canada and was an Albany resident most of her life. She had been employed as a secretary for Canadian Pacific Airlines. . Reba enjoyed bridge, mahjong and bowling as well as reading and cooking. She was a member of the Independent Benevolent Society in Albany and a former member of Temple Israel in Albany.
Reba was married to Morris Kaminsky until his recent passing in October of 2013.
She is survived by 3 sons, Stanley Kaminsky of Albany, Jeffrey Kaminsky of Miami, Florida and Ron Kaminsky of Israel. She also leaves 5 grandchildren, Barry, Natalie, Benjamin, Natan and Aiden. Mrs.Kaminsky was predeceased by a brother, Saul Wilner and a sister, Haviva Rubel.
Reba will be remembered as a loving mother and doting grandmother.
Services at Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue Albany, NY on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 2:30pm. Interment will follow in the Independent Benevolent Cemetery in Guilderland, NY. Those wishing to remember Reba may make a memorial contribution to the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center, 180 Washington Avenue Extension, Albany, NY 12203. The period of mourning will be observed at 111 Terrace Avenue in Albany on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.
