My deepest condolences to all of Steve Freedman's family and loved ones. I worked in a different department with Mr. Freedman at Forest Hills High School. I remember his warm smile and his passion for teaching. He was a genuine and kind and a gentleman.

Steve had been a mentor to me when I first started student teaching at Forest Hills High School. I have only fond memories of him, and his wonderful sense of humor.

I remember Steven from our years at Milne and member of Boy Scouts troop 33. He was a someone the younger scouts looked up to as a role model and leader. His life was dedicated to helping those in need. My condolences to his entire family. May his memories be a blessing to us all. Rob Dorkin
