I just want to express my condolences to Mrs. Scott’s family. Mrs. Scott was my Eighth grade English teacher at Hackett Junior High School in 1964. She was a wonderfully kind and caring teacher, and a very special person. We had a mini baby shower for her as she was expecting her first baby and I will always remember how happy she was as she opened our gifts. Her smile was beautiful! Her memory is a blessing to me.

Karen, Doug and girls,
I am so sorry to hear of Mimi's passing, but what a gal she seemed like. Looks like she lived life to the fullest, as we all should. I'm sure you all have very fond memories. Thinking of you all.

The Scott family have been my summer neighbors, and much more, for the last 40 years. Mimi always had a project she was working on. If it wasn’t the Park Playhouse, it was some other theatre production, or a gala or benefit. She was tenacious. If she had an idea, she didn’t take no for an answer. There never was a dull moment when Mimi was around. But what I remember most is she was caring and kind. She always asked about me and what I was doing. I will miss her. My condolences and prayers for Karen, Doug, Chelsea, Jazz, Koti, Jeffery, Lisa, Dylan and Jordan. RIP Mimi. ❤️
