Obituary of Morris Kaminsky
Morris C. Kaminsky, age 92 of Albany, NY died on Friday, October 18, 2013 at the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home. Morris was born in Poland and resided in Albany most of his life. He was a graduate of Albany High School and RPI. He was employed as a civil engineer for the NYS Dept of Transportation for many years. Morris was a World War 2 veteran and a former member o Temple Israel where he was very active. He was a member of the Jewish War Veterans Post # 105 and the Independent Benevolent Society. Morris volunteered his time at the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center as well as for the Jewish War Veterans. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening. He and his wife enjoyed spending their winters in Florida.
He is survived by his loving wife, Reba Wilner Kaminsky, and his 3 sons, Stanley Kaminsky of Albany, Jeffrey Kaminsky of Miami, Florida and Ronald Kaminsky of Israel. Brother of Lillian Wasserman of Florida. He also leaves his 5 grandchildren, Barry, Natalie, Benjamin, Natan and Aiden.
Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel 649 Washington Avenue Albany on Sunday October 20, 2013 at 3:30pm. Interment will follow in the Independent Benevolent Cemetery in Guilderland, NY.
