Obituary of Janet Yulman
Janet Kalin Yulman, 64, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 surrounded by close family. Janet was born in Sioux City, Iowa to Geraldine and Sidney Kalin. Not long after graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder, Janet was introduced to Richard Yulman at her older brother's wedding. Janet and Richard married in 1976 and had two children, Katy and Brett. They lived in Albany, NY, before moving to Coral Gables, FL in 1987, but Janet felt most at home in Lake George, NY, surrounded by the Adirondack Mountains and her beautiful gardens. She could often be found picking flowers and vegetables for everyone to enjoy. Janet's fun-loving personality, sense of humor, infectious smile, remarkable strength, and warm heart made her a person that people were magnetically drawn to. She lived her life with such grace and generosity and left a deep impact on everyone who knew her. She cared so deeply about her family and her family adored her. Janet will be forever missed and her memory will live on in the hearts of the lives that she touched.
Janet is survived by her devoted husband of 37 years, Richard Yulman, her adoring children, Katy (Greg) Williamson and Brett Yulman, her brothers Steve Kalin and Bruce (Linda) Kalin, her nieces and nephews Lindsay Holden, Michael Kalin, Jessie Kalin, Alana Kalin, Jenna Kalin, Jacqui Kalin, and JB Kalin and her standard poodles Preston and Rex.

Services and entombment were held on Friday, October 18, 2013 at the Beth El Cemetery in Moreau, New York.
