I will always remember her smile whenever she and Matthew would come visit me as I was performing at a local restaurant.
I will always remember you and your delight and astonishment from my magic.
Rest In Peace momma

Some the happiest moments of my childhood were spent with Aunt Edna, my awesome godmother. She was always present, supportive, and kind. And she made a mean paella. All who were touched by Edna's love will miss her. May she rest in peace.

Edna will be much missed. She was my 1st cousin by marriage to Jack and she was always the steady hand in Latham. She and Jack were always welcoming to me during my years going to grad school at SUNY Albany and I always enjoyed going to the Sissman home for a visit. I remember when Matt and Danny as young kids were quite rambunctious (understatement) but Edna always stayed calm and collected. She was always generous and caring to members of the extended Sissman family and I will deeply miss her and my cousin Jack too. Cousin Richard

I have many cherished memories of Edna as she was someone very significant in my life. Edna and Jack were my home away from home, a place where their hearts and hospitality were shared so many times and in the so many ways that quickly exceed anyone's imagination. While I studied in Ithaca and in Michigan and thereafter, Edna and I shared seemingly ordinary times that would often becoming surprisingly extraordinary. She always spoke and acted from her heart in an effortless manner, with utter integrity, compassion, intelligence and humility. Her appreciation for humor and irony was well above the rest, and her kindness exceptional. My heart is with Edna's family, my family as well.
