My sincerest condolences to the Marmulstein family. Helene was a great friend to my parents Sonny and Esther. I have fond memories at the luncheonette as a kid and at your home visiting with Harold. May you have great memories to share with your families.

Dear Michael & family,
So sorry to hear of the passing of your dear Mother, one of my Mother's dearest friends. Every time I'd see Helene in the years since my Mom's passing, we'd both well up in tears & just hug. They were such dear friends ......
My sympathies to your family & all who knew her, a very sweet lady.
Love & light,
~Suzy

Despite her long full life, it was saddening to hear that Helene Marmulstein had passed away. Helene was my mother's best friend for more than half a century, and I was closer to her than most of my own extended family. A trip to Albany, from Canada, to visit family and long-time friends had to include a visit with Helene, even after my mother moved away from the Whitehall Road apartments where they both lived. It's been odd to go back "home" and not see Helene, after she moved to be with her sons in Atlanta. Wanda and I will both miss her humor and graciousness. She was a very special lady!

I send my deepest sympathies to the entire family. I taught Scott and Laura many moons ago in Preschool and even babysat for them a few times and then reconnected with Helene when she was a patient at Dr. Perlmutter's and I was his receptionist. She was a very sweet woman.

To my friends Alan and Jackie and the rest of the family I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. I am glad that I was able to spend some time with her recently when I was in Atlanta visiting. I am also glad that she passed peacefully with family surrounding her in her last moments. May her memory be a blessing and may you be comforted by the many good memories of your Mom over the years. I will miss her wonderful smile and good nature. She was a wonderful woman.
