I was sorry to hear of Alan's passing. I sang with him many years ago at the First Dutch Reform Church in Albany. He had a wonderful deep rich bass voice, and we all always enjoyed hearing him sing. He and I would joke about a couple of Jewish guys singing leads in a church choir. He was a pleasure to hear, and to know.
