I am sad after seeing Rays obituary in the paper. I would have visited him had I known he was in Albany. I enjoyed years of tennis on the courts at SUNYA with Ray. I was in the chemistry building next to physics. He used to say as we went out, “ only fools and Englishmen go out to play in the noonday sun”. I enjoyed his wit and knowledge. I knew him also as a giving and charitable person. Condolences to his family an especially to June his wife of many years.
