I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Scott's sudden and tragic passing. I worked with Scott at NYSID/DFS. He was always professional yet lots of fun. An all around great guy. I regret not having been in closer contact since my retirement. May he rest in peace and may the family know of no further sorrows.

Words fail me. It has been three weeks since Scott passed away so suddenly, but I could not find the words I needed to express my grief and my sorrow for his family until now. I had not spoken to Scott in a very long time, but he had been an important part of my life, and he has never been very far from my thoughts. I had know Scott since we were both little boys. In fact, I do not remember not having known him.
Scott's passing leaves a hole in my life.
I will always miss him.

I would like to give my heart felt condolence to the family of Scott. Co-worker from the NYC office, I knew Scott from the Insurance Department then. When I ran into Scott he was always kind and had a good sense of humor. We all had lots of fun with Scott at the Holiday and Picnic events over the years, he will be missed. It is always a wrenching experience to lose a loved one with no prior warning. My condolences are offered to Scott's family and all that loved him. As a co-worker, Scott will always be remembered by me as a person who never gave up, and was diligent in his pursuits and convictions. I will always remember those personal qualities of his, and it will serve me to remember "never give up in what you believe it". Rest in Peace Scott, Rest in Peace.

I worked often with Scott during my time with the then Insurance Department. I remember his compassion and fairness in dealing with Human Resources issues. I remember his love of sports and the Eagles!! R.I.P. to a wonderful man!!

Dear Sandra and family. I was so saddened to hear of Scott’s passing. He was an awesome coworker. I spent my last four years of State service working with him at the Insurance Department. I learned so much from him. We had some crazy fun times together in the Albany Office and traveling to NYC together. I also remember how lovingly he always spoke about you and the children. I think one out of every five conversations I would have with Scott would go the same way. I'd have to remind him that yes, I still hated the song Jesse's Girl. He'd say, "hey I thought of you this weekend, I was in my car...", and I already knew what was coming next..."Scott, I hate that damn song!"
He will be missed. My condolences go out to the Gollop family.
