I met Ruth at the Landings in Sarasota Fl. and had the pleasure of visiting her many times in the past year as well as writing about her art career for a local publication. She was such a vivacious, creative and interesting women. We both shared memories of living in Albany, NY. My deepest sympathy to her family and I feel priviledged to have met her.

Dearest Diana and Jerry,
I have in my hand a birthday card from Mommy 2. She never forgot. She always called and began, “I’ve know since you were 12, Suzi.” Sometimes she reminisced about Ida. About their trips together, the beloved four , sleeping in a barn when there was no room at an inn. or about my Aunt Julie’s great gift of the vodka martini. She always spoke about her beautiful or brilliant daughter. She knew you didn’t need that lipstick! She always gave positive advice. T
Always positive! Always learning. Always warm.
And you Diana gave her the last few years with patient devotion that was admirably amazing.
With Ruth and all of you, I felt like I still had a family m. And still do! So many memories! Liove Always Ruth. (She always wrote that!)

Ruth, My dear friend of 33 years.....You really did it your way right to the end! Can still hear you singing Frank Sinatra's song "My Way." And....you sang it best after your 3-olive martini. I've missed you on the golf course, at our numerous "happy hours" and I'll miss our frequent laughter-filled phone conversations. I'll always fondly remember our many adventures. Although I can't call you, I'm sure you'll be in touch with me. For now and until we are together again...enjoy that beautiful place. I'll close with our usual sign off - I love you....Ciao for Now!
