Nelson lived across the street from me. We became friends when I was 4. I last saw him in June 2018. I called him a few moths later and no answer. I googled him and found this obit. I am stunned. He was a part of the Daly family. Does anyone know what happened to him?

I am shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Nelson's death. Nelson was one of the nicest, most kind-hearted people who worked at the Albany GMF. His infectious smile and positive outlook could brighten any dismal day, and he always made you feel better for just saying hello.
Having retired 14 years ago, I ran into Nelson most recently at the funeral of a mutual friend. He told me he was finally retiring and looking forward to pursuing other interests. Although I feel so sorry that his retirement was cut short, God's ways are not our ways.
"The Lord is just, he loves just deeds; the upright shall see His face," says the Psalmist. (Psalm 11:7) May the angels now bid you to Paradise, dear Nelson, where you shall see the face of the Lord.
