Florence Rubin, age 95, Passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018.  Born in Rochester, NY, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Celia Cohen. 

Florence was the office manager at her son’s law office for many years.  She was also employed by the NY State Dept. of Transportation.  She enjoyed traveling, was a gifted artist and was a great cook.  Florence enjoyed children, especially her two grandsons. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Samuel Rubin; loving mother of Cecile Vergoni (the late Anthony), Bruce Rubin (Marilene) and Lawrence Rubin; sister of the late David Cohen, the late Molly Farnsworth and the late Rose Kravetz (Sidney).  Florence is also survived by her grandsons, Samuel and David. 

Florence will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  Her life was a model for us all. 

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Levine memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Ave. Albany.  Interment will be in the Shandaken Rural Cemetery.
