Obituary of Norman Paul

Albany – Norman M. Paul 

Norman M. Paul, age 93, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018.  Born in Albany he was the son of the late Louis and Rose Bizman Paul.

Norman was an English teacher for the Mohonasen Central School District until 1959 and then became the Executive Director of Congregation Beth Emeth in Albany. He was a lifelong NY Yankees Fan. 

Norman was the loving husband of the late Lorraine Bollt Paul until her passing in 1980 and the late Lila Lebowitz Paul until her passing in 2006.

Beloved father of Caren Solomon and Janis Jacobs (Marty); brother of Fred Paul (Joan); cherished grandfather of Daniel Solomon (Jill), Julia Solomon (Gregg Narod), Alex Jacobs (Adriane) and Emily Jacobs (Michael Cohen).  He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren. 

Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Wednesday July 18, 2018 at Beth Emeth Cemetery, Turner Lane in Loudonville.  In lieu of flowers donations in Norman’s memory may be made to Congregation Beth Emeth’s Lorraine Bollt Paul Archives Fund, 100 Academy Rd. Albany, NY 12208 or to a charity of one’s choice.
