Obituary of Sofia Dubrovsky

Sofia Dubrovsky, age 94 of Clifton Park, NY died on Wednesday evening at the residence. Born in the Ukraine, after receiving her nursing degree she accepted a nursing position in Western Ukraine shortly prior to World War II. She then enlisted immediately serving 4 years of active duty as a head surgical nurse in a military hospital. Following the war, Sofia continued her nursing career.

She was married to Dr. Grigory Dubrovsky until his passing in 2013. Loving Mother of Dr. Michael Dubrovsky (Diana), and Tatyana Dubrovsky (Oleg Kaverin). Sister of Maria Lifshits (Adolf) Cherished grandmother of Marianne Chisholm (Brian), Vadim Kaverin, Irina Feygin (Dr. Ruslan), Great grandmother of David and Mila Feygin.

Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue Albany on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 12 noon. Interment will follow in the Beth Emeth Cemetery in Loudonville, NY.
