Obituary of Christine Earley-Nadler

Christine Earley-Nadler, age 67 of Loudonville, NY passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany. God took her quickly into his arms.

Christine was born on March 27, 1951, and raised in Yonkers, NY, by her parents John and Claire Earley. She earned a Bachelor or Arts/Sociology-Psychology, and a Master of Science in Education/College and Agency Counseling from SUNY Plattsburgh.

Christine was a devoted advocate for students with disabilities.  She spent many years advocating for children in K-12 education. She fought diligently to ensure that children received the rights they were entitled to and helped them to succeed.  She later directed her expertise to adult learners in post-secondary education. Fighting for the rights of others was a true passion and spoke to her dedication to others and to her community.  She spent the last 30+ years sharing her knowledge and advocating for her students at Excelsior college, leading multiple departments through the years including Financial aid, Enrollment Management and Students with Disabilities.

Christine was always strong willed, even through her years of illness. She never let it stop her from performing in the career she enjoyed, or from being a support system to her family and friends. She found peace in her Catholic faith, and was proud of the life she had led, knowing that God might welcome her to heaven earlier than expected.

She is survived by her loving husband Rick Nadler, her daughter Claire Nadler and her husband Rami Massoud of Cohoes, her son Kyle Nadler, his wife Laura Nadler and her granimal Brody of Latham, her sister Gail Phillips of Wilmington, North Carolina and her brother Brian Earley of New Jersey.
