Obituary of Harvey George Busch

Harvey George Busch, age 88 of Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles, Florida, former longtime resident of Woodbury, New York died on Friday evening, May 4, 2018 at the Vitas Hospice Healthcare in Miami, Florida surrounded by his loving family.  Harvey was born in Chicago, Illinois and was a graduate of Brooklyn College where he received his Master’s degree.  He had been President of the F and M Shoes which was a well know chain in Long Island.

Mr. Busch is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Sylvia Claire Strizik Busch..Cherished father  of  Dr.  Robert Busch and his wife Kathy, Linda Busch Shlofmitz and her husband, Dr. Richard Shlofmitz and Ronald Busch and his wife, Elyse. Beloved poppy of Brian Busch and his wife, Robin, Lori Busch and her fiancé, Eli Feldman, Michael Shlofmitz, Dr Evan Shlofmitz, Corey Shlofmitz and his wife Ashley,  and Jordan, Justin and Jason Busch. Great grandfather of Madeline and Lucy

A memorial service will be held at Temple Sinai, 425 Roslyn Road in Roslyn Heights, NY on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 10:00am. The shiva period (traditional period of mourning) will be observed at Temple Sinai immediately following the memorial service.
