Still think of Cindy often and mourn the passing of such a beautiful, sweet soul. Sometimes, when I'm at B'nai Jeshurun services, still feel like I see her turning her head, smiling at me and wishing a Shabbat Shalom. Sending peace and healing to her family. I lost my sister in her 30s and know how hard a loss that can be. Blessings.

To Cindy's family, I knew Cindy many years ago, when we met doing volunteer work at Planned Parenthood. While we lost touch after I moved away from New York, I have always remembered her sweetness and kindness. I know what a wonderful person she was, and I cannot fathom your suffering. My deep condolences to Cindy's family. I met Cindy while working together in Bosnia and Herzegovina. After that rather intense living and working experience, in recent years we had lost touch. A mutual friend though was trying to track down Cindy and put us all back in touch. She is one of the most kind and sincere individuals I have ever met. She was the real thing. May her warmth and kindness live on in our memories. May fear and sadness be transformed into love.

To Cindy's family and friends, I knew Cindy from Congregation B'nai Jeshurun in NY City where we were congregants and participants in a women's "action" hevreh and then as a friend. I have rarely known anyone with such goodness, luminescence and a smile that would make the sun shine. She was a beautiful, kind, compassionate and talented woman and we deeply deeply mourn her passing. Sending all our sympathy and condolences for Cindy's loss, a light that went out too soon.

I was a friend of Cindy's in high school. She was always sweet-spirited and caring. She was kind to everyone regardless of their abilities or background. I will remember her as a an intelligent person who always sought to befriend those less fortunate than herself. May her gentle, sweet spirit carry on through those who loved her. I am so sorry for the profound sense of hopelessness that she must have experienced. I am so sorry for the profound sense of loss that you must be experiencing. Peace be with you.

We grieve with Cindy's loved ones for her tragic and sudden passing. We remember her fondly as the sunny and vivacious young woman who welcomed us to Temple Gates of Heaven and was the source of so much pride and joy to her loving parents.
