Obituary of Karen Rose Platt
Karen Samuels Platt, age 56 of 14th Street in Troy, NY died on Wednesday morning, March 13, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy. Born in Brookline, Massachusetts, Karen had been employed for several years as a secretary for several local synagogues in the Capital District. She had also worked part time at Manheim, the automobile auction in Clifton Park, NY.
Karen is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Eugene Platt and her brother and sister in law, Avraham and Marcia Merel of Brooklyn, NY. She is also survived by many relatives of the Reznik family as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services at Congregation Berith Sholom, 167 Third Steet Troy, NY on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 2:00pm. Interment will follow services in the Hebrew Farmer's Cemetery in Guilderland, NY.
