Obituary of Dorothy Friedlander

Dorothy Zweig Friedlander, age 85 of Altamont, NY died Saturday morning, January 12, 2013. Born in Albany, Dorothy was a lifelong Capital District resident. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Sophie Monk Zweig. Dorothy was married to Leonard Friedlander until his passing in 1988.She is survived by 2 sons, Richard Friedlander and his wife Gail of Clifton Park,NY, Barry Friedlander of Altamont, NY and her daughter, Ruth Friedlander and her companion, Terry also of Altamont, NY. Sister-in -law of Betty Friedlander Rockford of Rochester, New York Services at Congregation Beth Emeth, 100 Academy Road in Albany on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 12 noon. Interment will follow in the Independent Benevolent Cemetery on Fuller Road in Guilderland, NY A full obituary will appear in Monday's newspaper.
