THE ABOVE PICTURES TAKEN IN 2004 ARE TYPICAL OF THE MANY WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING DINNERS THAT WE CHERISHED AT PEP, LYNNE, AND JEN'S BEAUTIFUL HOME. LYNNE COOKED FOR DAYS AND SERVED US THE MOST FANTASTIC DINNER A FAMILY COULD EVER HOPE TO HAVE. THIS YEAR, IN 2004, WAS THE MOST SPECIAL OF THEM ALL. THANK YOU, PEP, FOR ALL THE MEMORIES--YOU WILL LIVE ON IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER. WE LOVE YOU,LYNNE AND JEN. BRENDA & DAVE

Lynne, Jennifer, Scott, family and friends of Karl, It was with a great sense of loss when we heard of Karl's passing. We wanted to let you know that you have our greatest sympathy, and our hearts are truly saddened. Your husband/father was more than just a wonderful person; he was always so kind and considerate to us that we always welcomed seeing him at every opportunity. Karl's infectious laughter and cheerful nature has always brought joy in our lives. I'm so fortunate that Karl was there to share so many happy moments in our lives and left us with so many memories. It's the little things, the small, everyday occasions you'll remember. The laughs, the stories, the smiles. And even though it seems like you can never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles. Please know that we are here for you and praying for you and honoring the memory of Karl in our thoughts. Love, Kurt, Melissa and Lilah

I have had the privilege of knowing Karl "Pep""for over 31 years. He was a first cousin to my husband David. They grew up together and remained close their entire lives .David often said that he felt "Pep" was more like an older brother then a cousin. Pep was a brilliant, generous ,kind and thoughtful man. Even as a TEENAGER, he offered to tutor my husband, David, in Math every day until he "got it". It was always evident that Pep had great love for his entire family and kept in touch with them. I always knew when Syracuse was playing as he would call and analyze the games with my husband, who is also a rabid fan. My happiest memories of Pep were spending many Thanksgiving Dinners with him, Lynne, Jen and all the relatives at their beautiful home.Everyone would be laughing and remembering the "old times". Lynne would prepare a feast for at least 25 of us that would put Martha Stewart to shame! Pep Lynne and Jen would all serve us, insisting that we do nothing! They enjoyed doing all this work for their cherished family--and cherished we did always feel! He cherished and adored his wife, Lynne, and his daughter, Jen. He loved being a father, and what a loving and supportive parent he and Lynne were to Jen! He was so proud of her,and her accomplishments. He loved his son-in-law Scott who called him "dad" as well. Despite his illness , Pep maintained enthusiasm for life, experiencing and learning new things which he enjoyed sharing. He adored being with Lynne every moment that he could-- he even loved shopping with her! She was the love of his life. She was his lifeline and steadfast in her love and devotion to him as well. They were simply "soul mates ". The last time we spoke, he commented that he had had a wonderful life and had loved every minute of it. We loved every moment that we were able to spend with him. He was "one of a kind," and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Lynne and Jen during this difficult time. Love, Bren and Dave Levetz

Although we never had the pleasure of meeting Karl, it was obvious from Jen and Scott that he was a light that glowed with boundless compassion, love, and humor. That light will continue shining through the many lives he touched and the memories he created. No words can console your loss but may you find comfort in the fond memories you shared with Karl. With deepest sympathy.
