I was the next door neighbor of Loraine for about ten years before she moved to Beverwyck. Friendly, trusting, caring, thoughtful and sincere are words that come to mind when I think of her. I'll always remember phone calls I would get with Loraine saying "Jim, c'mon over, I've got kugel". She will be missed.

After knowing her for only a short time, Loraine effortlessly captured my heart. With her contagious smile, she lit up the room as she entered. May her generosity live on in her remembrance and in those she touched.

I knew Loraine from the exercise class at Beverwyck. I really enjoyed knowing her. She was lots of fun. She used to hum along with the music. She also was such a caring person. Whenever anyone from the class needed help, she was always the first one there.I will miss her. We all will.

I have a such a clear memory of two sweet little girls playing in their driveway (or in the sparsely-used road). You may not remember me, Ilene and Rhonda, but we were neighbors on Pinehurst Avenue in the early 60's. I am so sad about the untimely death of your mother. She was a good woman, always ready with a cheerful greeting, so caring, so helpful. She will be missed by her many friends here at Beverwyck. I send my sincere sympathy to you and your families.
