I miss sandy! I think of him everytime I pass his house down the block from mine. I miss his friendliness and his excitement to see me in the neighborhood so we can chat. I still feel his essence on westchester drive. He was so wonderful and will never be forgotten!

Ronnie and family, -- I am so sorry to hear about your dad's passing, and am sorry that I didn't hear about it until last night. He and your mother were good friends to all the Heddermans, particularly my Uncle Jack over many, many years. It was always a pleasure to see him around town. Our prayers are with you all.

To the Levin family: I am so sorry to hear of Sandy's passing, I loved his wry sense of humor and know he missed his dear Ruthie terribly,I was blessed to have got to know him and Ruthie, and "shared" many a "hot lead" on a pony at the track. It was nice to hear he made it up there this past summer, I know he really enjoyed it, and I will always think of him, and look for him in his "seat" next summer......the world was a better place, with him here, and know heaven has a new angel. My sincere sympathies, Debbie Stevens,RN

We will miss Sandy very much. The neighborhood will never be the same without his friendly smile, great jokes and his loving heart. I will always rememeber his happy step walking up the block looking for good conversation! He was often the best part of my day! Love you Sandy!

Those of us from Swift Builders always enjoyed seeing and visiting with Sandy and Ruth around town. Occasionally, we would have lunch them at the Four Corners and with Sandy at various places after Ruth's passing. We certainly enjoyed his stories and sense of humor. Although I saw little of Sandy the last few years I often though of him. I am sorry to hear about his passing and offer my condolences. There was a connection to my father-in-law, Bill Hasselbarth. Sandy, Bill, and his brother Tom and one other gentleman whose name I can't remember who worked at Boardman's were a group of friends. I remember Ruth and Sandy talking about these friends with found memories. Donald Swift

He came to be one of the people I looked most forward to seeing! I am sure his memory will live in many hearts!! My thoughts and prayers are with each of you .
