I think about Orest often, and mention him, from time to time. He is always with me, in spirit. I feel more sad than I realized.

On Oct. 20, while in NY to see newborn Sadie, Orest, Barbara, Lily and I (the other Grandma) went to the Children's Museum. We had a wonderful time. Orest took photos as Lily played at each exhibit. He kept his eyes on her to be sure she was safe. Watching them interact, you could tell how much Orest loved her. At lunch in a restaurant, Orest shared his turkey and carrots and Lily ate with a fork like a grown up. We had a great time and when back home we all said this would be a wonderful memory and we'd do it again when in NY together. It has become even more of a happy family memory but tinged with sadness. I am so happy we took that outing and will keep it in my mind and in my heart always.
With my condolences and love to Barbara, Sharon, and Keith,
Grandma Lillian

Love permeated the memorial service. The cantor's voice linked into The Eternal. The speakers spoke from their hearts. The life of Orest brought blessings upon all of us. A toast to LIFE - - -

Your Dad, husband and loved one remains with us as a man without any anger or violence. If everyone were like Orest there would be no war, no conflicts of any type and no hatred anywhere. I, and many other of his fellow DEC civil servants will miss him.

I know without any hesitation that your Spirit lives on and you will always be remembered by your friends at the Science of Mind Center. When you see Fred, tell him we are thinking of him,
