IDA ZUGMAN BELIK
1930-2011
Ida Zugman Belik, age 81 of the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home in Albany died on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Ukraine, Mrs. Belik came to this country in 1978, and had been residing in Schenectady, New York. She had been employed for 20 years for the payroll department at OTB Headquarters in Schenectady and was retired. She was a member of Congregation Agudat Achim in Schenectady. Ida was a holocaust survivor and will be remembered as a loving grandmother and mother.
She was married to Michael Belik until his passing in 1996. Loving Mother of Nelly Spigel and her husband Wally of Rexford, New York and Lana Mason and her husband Alex of Washington Township, New Jersey. Grandmother of Arthur Spigel, Sabina Nathanson, Aviva Mason and Brandon Mason. Great grandmother of Max and Levi Spigel and Nina Nathanson. Ida was predeceased by her brother, Michael Zugman.
Services at Congregation Agudat Achim, 2117 Union Street Schenectady, NY on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 12 noon. Interment will follow in the Agudat Achim Cemetery in Rotterdam, NY. The period of mourning will be observed at the Spigel residence in Rexford, NY on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
