It was with great sadness that I read about Paula Katz's death. I was unable to attend the memorial services, but I want to pay tribute to her as a person and professional.
When Paula was assistant to the dean of Business at Siena, I was dean of the Arts Division at Siena for five years. Our offices had considerable dealings with each other, so I got to know Paula quite well.
She was a pleasure to work with, never complaining or arguing about anything. She always seemed to have a smile on her face, which in her job must have been difficult to do. She was extremely thoughtful and thorough in her work.
She lived by the principle, "Do unto others as you would have done unto yourself." May she rest in peace. My deepest sympathies to the family.
