It is very sad to hear. My deeply and heartily condolence to the entire family. I got an opportunity to work with Mike Brilliant as I started my professional career in GE as a heat transfer engineer. He was my mentor and taught me many told and untold lessons from his experience. He was wonderful mentor teacher. He is one of the key contributors in shaping my career. We used to talk over phone daily when I was working in GE. I looked him as a father figure because his date of birth was same as my father which is August 15. Even after leaving GE, we were in touch through phone calls and emails. I can’t believe it that He is no more because we had an email exchange on September 15. May his Departed Soul Rest In Peace. I also pray to god to give the strength and courage to his family members in this tough phase of life. I can say one one line for Mike that “ Though you went from our sight but will live forever in our hearts”.......

I was lucky to have worked with Mike many times over the last 10 or so years of his career. He was one of the best persons I've ever known and he was world class in his areas of expertise and in the way he lived and treated others.
My deepest condolences to Mike's family, relatives and friends.
Sincerely, Ed D

Dear Arleen and Family,
As I looked specifically for Clem Kinnicutt's obituary, I scanned the others and want to tell you that I was blessed by what you said about your Mike.
"No one ever heard him curse. No one ever heard him say a bad word about anyone. He never gossiped. He never lied."
I believe the whole nation will miss him.
May God bless you.
Lynn
