Please accept my condolences. Mr.Holland was a great teacher. I am of the Class of '61 and remember him fondly. The last time we met was at the dentist office where I was working part time in 1998. Remarkably he remembered me.

Dear Marilyn and children,
I share your grief at the loss of your beloved Herb and my dear friend. I recall many Friday evening dinners in the home of Marilyn and Herb and his amazing challahs. I also feel profoundly privileged to have taught the Holland children. They were wonderful and talented students and I remember them all fondly to this day. The Holland family was an important part of my life and the life of the community.
May you be comforted among the mourners of Zion and may the memory of Herbert Holland be for a blessing.
Fondly,
Chaim Picker

Dear Marilyn, Children, Diane, & Sally Rapp: So very saddened to learn of Herb's passing. We go way back to days at Schuyler; Sorority & Fraternity dances at the old JCC on Washington Avenue and many celebrations that we shared. It's been years since we were in Albany and met you many times in Temple Israel when you volunteered at their Bingo games/ Howie & I always looked forward to seeing you and recalling old times together. Marilyn, you and Herb were always so devoted to each other and I know you will miss him terribly. My sincere condolences and prayers are with you, my friend. Roz.
