Obituary of Avram Shlizerman

Avram Shlizerman, 86 of Schenectady, NY died on Thursday at the Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Moldova, Avram has resided in the US since 1991. He had been employed as a foreman in a textile factory in the Soviet Union. Mr. Shlizerman was a member of Congregation Gates of Heaven in Schenectady and had a love for soccer. He is survived by his wife, Sarra, his children, Daniel Shlizerman and his wife Lena of Israel and Zhanna Shkolnik and her husband Samuil of Schenectady. Grandfather of Alexander Shlizerman ( Jennia), Boris Shkolnik (Polina), Marat Shkolnik, and Michelle Shlizerman. Great grandfather of Liam and Ido He was predeceased by a brother, Srul Shlizerman. Services at the Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Watt Street Schenectady on Tuesday, December 27 at 2:30pm.
