I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Leroy. My wife’s father, Frank Crowcroft was the commander of the B-29 when the Kamakazi pilot flew his plane into the cockpit of the B-29, killing my wife’s father, Frank Crowcroft instantly and 7 more crew members. Susan and I had the absolute honor of meeting Leroy and fellow crew member at the B-29 reunion in Tucson. I believe the year was 1995 - 50 years after the war ended! RIP Leroy, you are a true hero!!!

Saddened by the loss of this lovely man - a man of bravery and loyalty to his family, friends and community. His military service was most admirable and am proud to have known this gallant gentleman. My thoughts and prayers to his family and many friends.
