I was a good friend of Pauls, was in his high school class, went to hebrew school with him, we were bar-mitzvahed at Agudas Achim in the same year. We golfed together at muni, went to the same parties and dances. Later I often saw him in the summer at the Squire shop or at the golf course. He was one of my favorite people, funny, generous, a great friend. I have many happy memories of our times together, and will miss him. My condolences to all those who knew and loved him.

I knew Paul and his brother Nick since childhood. Although we were never close, I remember him from school, from downtown at Dave's, from uptown at the Squire Shop, and from skiing which we both started at a young age. He always had a smile and a laugh; I'll have fond memories of Paul. My condolences to the family.

Dear Jeff, Robert and Laurie,
I was very saddened to hear about your Dad's passing but I know now that he is at rest in a better place. My deepest sympathy to all of you.
I've known you Dad for over 40 years and never considered him a boss - he was more like family. What a great guy - kind and generous. We had some really good laughs together in my days at Dave's and the Squire Shop. I still have a Squire Shop sign hanging in my house. I always enjoyed working with your Dad and will never forget him. It also was a pleasure to get to know all of you since you were babies. You are a terrific family and I wish you all the best in the future.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the services on Friday because we have to travel to Syracuse to help my daughter with our new grandchild. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your working with your Dad for all those years and I will miss him.

First knew Paul as childhood playmate in Crane Street backyard behind Daves' Men Shop. A most congenial Muni Golf Starter. My prayers to his family.
